At Badakhshan-E-Bazaar, we take pride in the quality of our authentic products. Because we ship internationally from Afghanistan, we have established the following policy to ensure a fair and secure experience for both the buyer and our artisans.
1. Returns Overview
We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags attached.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Used or laundered textiles.
- Perishable goods (such as food or saffron).
- Custom-made or personalized orders.
- Digital products (once downloaded or accessed).
3. Return Shipping & Costs
- Customer Responsibility: Unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong item was sent, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- International Shipping: Please be aware that international shipping to Afghanistan can be expensive. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
- Original Shipping Fees: Original shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
4. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method (PayPal,bank,debit-card).
- Transaction Fees: Please note that PayPal or any other transaction fees from the original purchase are non-refundable and will be deducted from your total refund amount.
- Timeline: Please allow 5-7 business days for the funds to appear in your account after processing.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, please contact us at contact@badakhshanebazaar.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please include clear photos of the item and the packaging. In these cases, we will work with you to provide a replacement or a full refund at no extra cost to you.
6. How to Initiate a Return
- Email contact@badakhshanebazaar.com with your Order Number and the reason for the return.
- Wait for our team to provide you with the authorized Return Shipping Address.
- Ship the item using a tracked service and provide us with the tracking number.
7. Fair Use & Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we detect “return abuse” (e.g., items returned with signs of wear) or if the items are returned without prior authorization.
